Inner Tubing

We are going to have fun this Saturday. We are leaving from church this Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. The cost for inner tubing is $ 15. I'm getting some subs and chips from Winco for lunch. If you don't like subs and chips, there is a cafe there that you can buy hot food from. Or you can bring your own lunch. Bring a change of clothes so you will have something dry to change into afterward. We should be back at church around 4 pm.

We are going to Summit Ski Area. Their website doesn't show direction to get there. But it is just pass SkiBowl. It will be on your left side as you are driving by.

Taking part in the hand written bible.

The NIV bible is coming out with a handwritten version of the bible. They are driving across America to let people write down a verse of the bible. They are coming to Portland this Friday. They will be at Multnomah University from 10am to 4pm. More on handwritten bible here. I'm going to be there around 2pm to contribute a verse. If you can't make it on friday, they are going to be at Beaverton Foursquare Church on Saturday from 9am to 3pm.

New Year, New Goals

This year, my goal for our youth group is that we will all read through the whole bible. This is a very doable goal. And with the help of others, we will accomplish it. To make this goal even easier for you, I have ordered a bunch of bibles for us. So we are all reading the same bible for our devotionals.
